All donations and proceeds left at the end of the event, after all operational costs have been taken into account, is donated to organisations in our community that give so much to us in times of need, or which support our community in a whole host of ways. Over the years we’ve raised over £20,000 of vital funds in this way.
Last year, due to the short notice of the event, we raised £450 which was donated in its entirety to St Mary’s Church, Cottonstones towards their refurbishment fund.
In 2021 we split our excess funds of £2,500 between 10 worthwhile causes – Overgate Hospice, Calder Valley Search & Rescue, Yorkshire Kidney Research, Happy Days, Friendly Band, Christians Together Calderdale, Mill Bank Defibrillator Group, the Macmillan Support Unit at Calderdale Royal Hospital, Ripponden & Rishworth Guides Association and the Caudwell LymeCo Charity.
We would like to thank each and every one of you on their behalf for your genorosity, and ask that you continue supporting us so we can support others.
