How to Find Us

Sowerby Bridge can be found on the A58 - about 3 miles south west of Halifax - approximately 60 miles from Liverpool and 70 miles from Hull. There are excellent transport links between all the major cities and towns in the area including Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, and Brighouse. If you're travelling from further afield, the M62 motorway runs along the southern edge of the area and Northern Rail operate a regular rail service.

By car

Follow the M62 from the east or west. At junction 24, exit onto Blackley New Rd/A629 toward Huddersfield/Halifax. At A643, take the 2nd exit onto Huddersfield Rd/A629. Continue to follow A629. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Stainland Rd/B6112. Turn right onto Rochdale Rd/B6113. Continue to follow B6113. Turn right onto Scammonden Rd and proceed into Sowerby Bridge.

By rail

Sowerby Bridge station is served by the Calder Valley line, which is easily accessible via Halifax, Brighouse, Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge, Walsden and Todmorden. It is also possible to travel from Leeds via Bradford. A direct service is also operated by Grand Central runs from London to Halifax and Brighouse three times a day.
